I have a series of names in a coulmn in Sheet1. I have a range of data
in sheet2 that looks like this.
Name1    DataType1    DataType2
Name2    DataType1    DataType2

How can I extract the first entries for each key in Excel from the following
4 columns ?
(i.e. the maximum value of cocatenated columns 1,2 &4  e.g. JohnSmith200).  I
already concatenated the first 2 columns as the key and SUMmed the "Values"

We have a excel workbook we use to keep track of inventory and there are
several worsheets inside that hold different sets of data.  The problem is
that all of the sudden it will not let us add any more worsheets to the

Can we change the default templates location in XL2K?  I think I did
it once by using the change startup folder location by accident, but I
can't remember.  An archives search in 3 Excel ngs didn't yield

Whenever I delete a row of data on my spreadsheet and then try to resort
(ascending or descending) it acts as though the information is still there or
it will sort the rows between the empty rows separately from the rest of the
spreadsheet.

Hi. I am trying to find a formula that would lookup the value of a cel

I receive data dump from Crystal Reports into an Excel format.  The
text data in some cells contains special characters - mostly the Tab
and leading/trailing spaces.  I can trim the data and eliminate the
leading/trailing spaces but I can't seem to eliminate the Tabs.

I am trying to import a database data in excel from db_vista database
and it limits the output to 25 rows. Does anybody know how to increase

We need to set the range from text sent to us. Below is an exmple. Can
anyone help as the issue is that normally the range the example below only
references cells [C4, B2, D8] in a sheet and not all the sheets and cells
[Sheet1!C4, Sheet2!B2, Sheet3!D8].
