I'm doubtful that the group is unbiased, but I will ask anyhow :o). If one intends to plot lots of data, primarily XY line and scatter plots, and mass produce them (in many cases I will be doing 88 graphs at a time - 1 for each of 88 counties), will Exel be the best bet, or is

I have an application to run Excel at the background and close Exce session after it exits. However, when application is running, Excel i popped up on the screen and easier for user to interfere the process s it is prone to user error.

My workbook contains about 50 worksheets. I want to allow the user to select which worksheet they want to look at from the first worksheet in the file. However, I really don't want to create 50 seperate hyperlinks by hand! Is there any way to automate this process?

Errors are given in sheet numbers but the sheets have names not numbers. How do you "go to" a sheet number? I have about 200 in a workbook. Thanks John

Can someone help me shorten this formula? I'm not sure if the mathamatics can be shortened by altering the formula or using a different formula to figure out the problem, but the path name makes it exceed the max amount of charachters. Changing the linking files path

I'm working in version 2002. For whatever reason, in this particular file, merge is greyed out. Does anyone know how to enable it. I have some text that I want to merge over a few cells so that I can print this puppy on one page.
