I am having trouble with a spreadsheet I am using to select different postal
addresses.
I want lets say cell b2 to have the input of a name and then the cells below
b3, b4, b5 etc to have the address, area and post code.

When I open any saved Excel file the program will open a blank 'Book 1' and
then open my pre-existing spreadsheet in a new window - how can I stop Excel
opening a blank Book 1? I am using Office Pro 2003 and file share on my PC

 I get a new a spreadsheet every day. It has the month in the filename.
This month's spreadsheet is called "June data".
In that spreadsheet, there are tabs for each day of the month.  The first
tab is called 1, the second is called 2 and so on.
