I have a spreadsheet where I would like one column to be the concatenation of two other columns. For example, in column C I would have =A1&B1. This excel file will be given to people and they will fill in values

Running Excel 97 SR-1 and have forgotten what you call locking a row in a sheet so that it stays in view and you can see the names of each column. How do you do it also? Thank you, Steve T

Hello. How do I make one block of text I pasted not go in to 2 cells and if I want to merge those 2 cells together in to one cell let's say merge 5d in to 4d, is that possible? Thanks. Oh, I'm visually impaired so is this possible with the keyboard? Thanks.

Ok... say I have like 1,000 records on column A and column B ..is there a way to write a formula say... going down column B and compare to column A and tell me which number or char. is not in colum A but is in column B ..or vice versa ..

I've got my own *simple* problem Somehow my workbook thinks there is a link to temporary sheet I was using. I can't work out a way to get rid of *the link* Edit Links - tells me the file (which has gone), but won't let me delete

I recently installed Office 2003 and noticed that when I open worksheets created in Excel 2000 into Excel 2003 some of the embedded pictures within the worksheet appear as mirrored images (backwards). Is there a way in Excel 2003 to horizontally "flip" the image?
