This might be a stupid question.
i have a cell (A1), with a month's name: "April"
How do i use a formula so cell B1 will show "May"
and when i change A1 to "June" Cell B1 will show "July"?

Hi - I'm trying to figure out how to track the date a row was last
changed in an excel spreadsheet.  We use a simple sheet to track the
status of different projects, where each project is a row.  I'd like to
have a column showing the date any changes were last made to that row.

Why when entering a 12 digit number is the last digit is changed to a "0"
when saving?  An example would be entering the number 123456789123 would be
saved as 123456789120.  Currently my cell format is general.

I need help removing commas, periods, parenthesis, dashes, etc from an

I have a large list of phone number from my phone bill which I have copied
into Excel and I would like to somehow lookup the number in my phone book
which is also in Excel and show the persons name from the phone number.

the header-line of the sheet. I have to protect the worksheet to

When protecting, I choose to allow all users to use AutoFilter and Sort

I have a spreadsheet that I put Store names and addresses in the same cell
(say E5), I need a formula so that if E5 contains "Target" or "CVS" that in
cell F6 it will return a number. Should be easy can someone please show me

At the end of my chart I always have a vertical line that is going to 0.
That is caused because the cells that the chart draw contains formulas. The
outcome of the formulas is space but the chart sees them as zeroes.
What I would like to do is the use somthing like the formula ...

I have a row of numbers that I need to multiply by a single constant and
  then sum over.
I thought I could use a sumproduct formula like
SUMPRODUCT(D5:D20,$M$5:$M$5), but unfortunately this does not do the trick.

I am having problems wtih getting the correct date. My start date is 03/12/06
in cell C4 and I want to calculate 6 calendar months from that date into
another cell. All I end up with is 09/12/06, when it should be done in
regular calendar months. The answer should be 09/21/06 but ...

I'm creating a pivot table listing Accounts Receivable transactions by
customer.  It includes both payments and invoices in the results.
Unfortunately both payments and invoices are listed as positive
numbers, so I can't just subtotal the "amount" column.
