i get the calculate message in status bar, i copy the formula in one perticular sheell and then paste this to some other shell but the formula is not applied to other shells, it shows always the first copied shell value to forth comming shells

I just upgraded from 2000 to 2003. In Excel 2000, when you were typing in a formula, a small window would open up automatically under the formula bar and say something like "value is ..." and give an on-the-fly evalaution of the expression. I found this quite useful,
