Trying to change a formula05 Sep 2006 14:32 GMT4
This is the formula I am using and it works good....
=SUM(IF(ISERR(FIND("-",G15:G125)),,REPLACE(G15:G125,1,FIND("-",G15:G125),"")-LEFT(G15:G125,FIND("-",G15:G125)-1)+1))

repeated formulas in excel05 Sep 2006 10:03 GMT6
I want to use the same formula a load of times in one column, the only thing
differing being the cell number it's working on.

Excel97 SR-1 problem05 Sep 2006 06:44 GMT3
Don't know what key I clicked but when I try to add 6.36 to a cell I get
1/6/1900 in that cell instead after hitting Enter. In the formula bar above,
I guess; the value is 4.27. Just adding up expenses in a single column,
nothing tricky. Thanks, Steve T.
