Hello everyone, Using Excel XP. In this example I want to total B1:B4 ONLY if the date in A1:A4 has arrived. In C1 I have a formula of sum of B1:B4, which I want to equal (B1,B2,B3) because the dates in A1:A3 are greater than today (Oct 25, 2006).

Re: http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot05.html#TopItems I use the data file from the above site. I drag "name" to the row fields area and "score" to the data items area. Then I double-click on name and select top 5 scores. I can even sort in ascending order of scores. No problem ...

I have never understood why the $ button on the formatting toolbar has a tooltip that says Currency Style and yet it applies the Accounting style. It has been this way for years. Am I missing something or is that a boo boo in Excel. Thanks for the input!!
