I'm experiencing problems at work with my PC constantly 'Not Responding'
when in Excel, working with large data sets and complex formulae.  The PC is
new, a
3.00 Ghz Pentium 4 HT, but with only 512MB of RAM.

Example: Excel "cursor" is now at B3, it should highlight row 3 (ie.

My problem is that linking doesn't work as i have to insert the results

I think that in the past, I've seen Excel spreadsheets with header rows
that have little directional sorting arrows in them.  So, by clicking
on the icon of any column, the data is sorted by the values in that
column.

I encounter this problem in only one of my worksheets.  Others are fine.
When I select the upper left data cell (a formatted date cell) the sort
does not recognize the header row 1, even though the sort window is set
to recognize a header row.  The 3 options for the sort order ...

How can EXCEL be made to open a particular Workbook, rather than a blank
