I'm trying to Save As  HTML in Excel so I can publish my sheet on a web page
but that HTML isn't an option listed on my Save As drop down menu.
On the help index it appears that they want me to install that option from
the CD but all I get when I try to find any option for Excel ...

In MS Excel, I want to check if the value in the cell above a cell is
numeric. For eg
I want a formula in Cell D8 if value in Cell D7 is numeric. How do I do
it.

In a multi-sheet workbook, if I reference a cell in another sheet (using
=SheetName!Cell) that is blank, the result displays as a 0 (zero).
If the cell being referenced is indeed blank, I need the value returned to
be blank as well. I know I can turn off display of zero values ...

This may really be a Windows problem rather than an Excel problem.  But on a
users PC, if they double click on an Excel file in Explorer, Excel opens but
with no spreadsheet.  It does not open with the selected spreadsheet, or a
blank spreadsheet but just the program with no open ...

I'm using excel 2002 and I want to add an additional column that counts the
rows.  I have created it and numbered it, but when ever I do a sort, the
numbers get sorted and they are out of order.  Is there a way to keep them
in order while sorting?

How do I get Plus and Minus signs in my additions and subtraction formats? I
have a report that I exported into Excel and it is missing the "-" and "+"

I have a little problem when importing a web query. I go to the the Data

I am trying to total employee schedule so some cell have D/O day off, R/O
requested off, so when I try to total all associates by the day I get #VALUE!
in cell and total cell. Is there a way to total only numbers and ignore
#VALUE!
