Using Excel 2003. Max helped me with an earlier conditional formatting question about coloring an entire row when a single condition is met. Now I am trying it again in a different worksheet and having problems.

I suspect this may be easier to do in access but maybe you know a way in excel. I have multiple excel files that all have the same headings. Users will be entering data into these workbooks. Once they have been filled in, I want to be able to easily extract the data

I have a spreadsheet with text in cells in one column, these vary in length from 8 to 20 characters, and they are a mixture of numbers and alphas. What I need to do have a formula in another column which takes each of these, but with out the last 3 characters. There is no one ...

I'm having trouble searching for this, because I am not sure what to call it. What I have is two different solutions that will cost me money. One of them has a higher cost up front, but a lower monthly cost, and the other has a lower cost up front, but higher monthly cost.

Using Excel 2003 I have the current date displaying in A1. My rows of data include "request date" in Column A, "person requesting work" in Column B, "work requested" in Column C, and "date completed" in Column D.

My sister who is many miles away has a problem. Her words: Every time I save something in Excel, it puts a shortcut on my desktop. How do I delete the shortcuts? If I say "Delete" it asks me if I want to send TG Version xls (or whatever) to the Recycle Bin. I say "no!"
