I'm using the TODAY function to put today's date on an invoice, however I want to prevent the field updating if I open the worksheet in the future. Is there any way of achieving this? Jeff

Does anyone knows how I could select/jump to a specific row? ie. I just open a file contains more than 5000th row of data, and i would like to jump to the 700th row, is there a way to do that? Thanks.

This formula is in L22, It references MERGED cells: D&E, F&G, H&I, and J&K. If there is input in any but not all of the merged cells I get the row incomplete message, but once all the merged cells are filled the message is not shown. I understand the theory but where does the "AE" ...

I've got a worksheet with four columns, one of which is a user name. I would like to take all the user names that contain numbers (and their respective data) and put it into a separate worksheet. So far, I haven't had any luck doing this with any combination of wildcard

OK, before you state the obvious, Auto Calculate is "on", I've tried Calc Sheet, Manual & "F9", "F9" in Auto, switching between all four, closing and reopening the file, rebooting, etc. The cell containing the formula is not formatted as Text, the formula is fairly simple:

I understand that there is a function (CONVERT) that converts feet to inches and vise-versa. BUT is there a modification of that function that will convert inches to a COMBINATION of Feet and Inches? (ie: Convert a value of 67 to 5'7")

Wehn I enter "October 10, 2006" into my excel spreadsheet, it always changes it to "10-10" or something like that. Where can I set my excel spreadsheet to display the full date? Also, does anyone have any experience with Google spreadsheets? Any good?
