I have avbscript that runs a excel macro, but when the macro runs it
gives the clipboard full error, so I have to click the NO button for
the macro to completely execute. Is there a way I can get around this ,
so that i can "fully" automate the process?

Is there a way to change Excel to display row height in inches as
opposed to whatever is currently displays (points?  pica?  I think?)

the contents..is there a way to LOCK some cells so that they are not

Working on Balance sheet for debits, credits and balances.  Need a formula
or ideas to maitain a constan runnuing balance in the case that customers pay
there bills, and we can show payment and see total transactions accrued for
that entire month.

I am sure that I must have done something screwy and changed some options
around but I have not been able to figure out what the problem is.  The issue
is that whenever I type a value into a cell it automatically divides that
number by 100 and that is the value that is then ...

I tried to do a macro for copying and pasting formulas.  My right mouse
click menu has copy formula and paste formula listed like 6 or 7 times.
The macro didn't work and now I have the multiple "copy formula" and
"paste formula" listed over and over and I can't get rid of it.

I can enter a number as text by
(1)  formatting the cell as text
or
(2)  leaving the format as general but keying in a single quote with the number e.g. '76.

I have a spreadsheet that has some cells locked and others that are
not.  I need to refresh the data on the page every month.  I want to be
able to copy the new data and paste it into the spreadsheet.  The catch
is that I do not want the locked cells to be changed.  Is there a way

I get this error message a lot, these days when trying to respond to a
post..........is it just me, or are others getting it frequently as well?  
Sometimes the response goes through, sometimes not.  Sometimes re-sending
results in double post, sometimes not.......most aggravating ...

If I am looking for the APY of an investment and the cash outflows are
bimonthly for 6 months, how do I tell Excel that I am doing it bimonthly?

I need a special number format, but I can't seem to get what I want:
IF a number is an integer, then there should be NO decimal point
displayed.
IF a number has a decimal part, then if should display only one digit

I am getting the number sign (#####) in place of dates whenever i try to type
or paste into my worksheet. How do i get it to show the dates and not the
number signs???

I friend of mine keeps having windows 2000 tell him/her that the copy/paste
operation cannot complete due to low memory.
I'm informed that they do the same thing all the time, but some times
Windows complains.
