Here's my problem...
I have a worksheet that lists football players, positions and ratings
for each player. I have another worksheet that has sections setup for

I am running into an problem with my users.  We have a Excel 2000
spreadsheet.  I know that typically, the sheet/cell that is selected
when a user closes the spreadsheet will be the same when a user opens

This morning I was teaching a basic excel class using an older version
of Excel (probably 2000?)and had an embarrassing incident.
We were discussing how to use the fill handle to update formulas.  The

Office\Office11\XLStart I have book.xlt, book1.xlt (my custom workbook)
and personal.xls. When I open Excel, at the top it reads personal.xls.
Shouldn't it read book1? Macros run fine. Anything wrong here?

I have a cell (D7) in a spreadsheet, which has either the word "OUT" or "IN"
entered manually.  The two options are then used in a. "IF" statement to
control a numerical value.
My question is: can this cell (D7) be made so that a mouse-click can toggle

A1:A5 lists the number of times a part is used in an assembly
B1:B5 lists the number of each assembly I want to build
B6 = SUMPRODUCT(A1:A5,B1:B5), which successfully gives me the total demand
for the part.
