I feel a bit frustrated with excell right now. On my previous post I asked about how to forecast using the Excell functions and someone sugested keeping past data behond current month and to do an average from it.

If I open an excel document from my documents, or other location, excel opens but then the file does not open. I can open excel files from excel and using the open command. but not staright from my documents.

I've just built a new computer and installed Excel 2003. I found an annoyance, which is different from the behavior in Excel 2002. 1. Enter some array formula into some cell. e.g. =ISNUMBER(A2:A5) 2. Note that it is displayed in the formula bar as {=ISNUMBER(A2:A5)}

I have a worksheet that I need to sort by department name and then month, which appears as January, February, etc. However the option to sort by month in proper chronological order doesn't seem to be available unless the month is the primary sort key. How can I use month

I can hold the CTRL key and copy a cell down one row. Is there any way to drag the corner down like you do to fill in an incrementing series, but instead copy the same value down through the whole range? Ed

Im taking pictures of components at regullar intervals and storing them seqentially in a file. i then need to display each picture in order in an excel 'CELL' (i know you can't show them in a cell) so need to know how to import them continually and simulate a cell reference.
