Is there a way in Excel to be notified on the date that is in a cell? For example, several columns of text and numeric data and one column of dates. On each date that appears in the date column you would be notified in some fashion to check the data corresponding to that date?

I have some data with various time intervals in mm:ss.ms and I want to use the COUNTIF function to count how many of them fall between 1-2 minutes, 2-3 minutes, 3-4 minutes, etc., but I keep getting a count of all the values. Am I comparing the time intervals wrong?

I'm new to Excel, so please excuse a basic question. Is there any way to shift rows without first creating blank rows for them to land on? When I attempt to drag and drop, it asks me if I intend on overwriting.
