I have Excel 2007. What I am looking for is a simple spreadsheet which I can
use for my part time business (photography).
Monies recieved and then also a seperate column for all expenses (costs).

As part of a project, I was conducting a survey (administered online) using
Snap survey software. Snap automatically sends results into an Excel file,
which is great. However, several of the questions allowed participants to
select more than one item ("Check the top 3 things..." ...

I seem to be having trouble with my functions.  I type in the functio
and it isn't showing the result - just the formula.
For example I tried to concatenate:  =CONCATENATE(A3,B3,C3,D3)
This was created using the wizard.  So I'm pretty sure it is correct.

I can't figure out how to make a formula that will recognize a color a
a value. More specifically; If b1 is made to be green (color index 4)
would like c1 to insert the letter Y. I am I'm looking for an I
statement so I can use it throughout the whole workbook.

I'll apologize in advance if this has already been answered but I couldn't
come up with a search phrase to find an answer.

I want my chart title to display the value entered in a cell.
A2="Date". I did a right click on the chart options and entered =A2 in
the chart title box. However, on clicking "OK", the chart title
displays the "=A2" instead of the value enterd in cell A2.

I have a file A with a list of item numbers in column A and
corresponding quantities in column B. The item numbers in file A were
imported as a text field, the quantity field type is number.
In file B I have the same information, which I typed in by hand.

I have a cell A1 with date 5/2/07. If in cell A2 I do month(A1), I get 5.  Is there a way to return May instead?  either through a command or formatting?  I can reference cell A2 with the 5 with a if(cell = 5, "May", ) in cell A3, but the date in cell A1 varies from Jan to Dec ...
