I currently have to copy and paste data from one spreadsheet to another. Is there a formula that I can write that would automatically copy the data that I enter in a cell on spreadsheet one to a corresponding cell on spreadsheet two.

I have in the past used a way of formatting a cell due to certain conditions. I used more than the usually allowed 3 in Format > Conditional formatting helper.
