I have two ranges of XYZ coordinates.  One is named R1 and the other
R2.  Is there any way in Excell 2002 to bascially say R2-R1=R3 so that
R3 is a range the same size as R1 and R2, where each cell in R3 is is
subtraction of the corrisponding cells in R1 and R2?  Sort of like

i have a large spread sheet that I use to gather and process many
customer's information.
I need a way to copy and paste items from that spreadsheet and not

example if the cell contains (207)555-1212 I would want 2075551212,
or if I had 123-456A, I would want 123456.

This is probably a basic question but I can't seem to find it in the help
menu...In Excel 2003 let's say that I have one cell that has =B1 if I use
the auto fill and drag this cell to the right I get  =C1 =D1 =E1 etc... can
I configure the auto fill so that it gives me =B2 =B3 ...
