Ok we have some excel files that get locked. Consist on a Win2k3 share. Basically a user will open them up in Excel and then use File, Close but keep excel 2003 open. So the file is closed! Now another user tries to open the file but gets file is open by user open

My mailing list program accepts Excel 2000 files as input. The spreadsheet has one email address per row. Is there a way to delete duplicates, other than sorting and visually scanning?

I am running excel 2003. If I set a row to auto fit. and I set the cells to wrap text. If I start typing text, it will wrap in the cells. growing the row height as needed.

After making a connection to a cube, and the Pivot table boxes show up in Excel - all my Dimensions show up UN-collapsed - and there seems to be no easy way to collapse them all at once. Does anyone know how to collapse them at start up or collapse all ?
