I have a report that uses VLookup to search for a match a part with a part
cost on a separate worksheet.  Some of the matches have return a value of
zero because the part has no cost.  Instead of having zeros all over my
page, is it possible to return a blank so that there is no ...

I know this is probably a dumb question, but is there a way to hide a sheet?
I want to put information in the sheet that my macros will use but don't
want the user to see or access.

I have one excel page and need to print 50 copies. I want them to be numbered
1 to 50. But all I get is page 1 of 1 on all 50. Is there any way to get the
1 sheet to number 1-50?

The MP06 Help insists the COM add-in works with Excel 2000, but I'm having
problems.

When using excel 2003 i have cells where the value is calculated by a
formula, if i change one the others used to update fine but no will
only update if i press F9.
Any ideas what is causing and how to resolve?

As title says, how do I format a date so it displays the day of the year,

 I get a text file and I need to extract a specific piece of data from it.
I've tried using Substitute and right and left but they don't work the way
I'd expect.

I am using Excel 2007, Windows XP Sp2 and I am a newbie to Excel.
I have a diabetic program so when my readings are entered into a Palm T3
pda, after syncing,  the program uses Excel 2007 to chart the results.
Looking at the data cells, the date is formated as dd.mm.yy.

I populated a column by pasting in a list of account numbers. Excel

I am trying to type the number 1-2130 into an Excel spreadsheet, but it
