When I click on the "close" button on Excel, why does Excel close just the active window instead of exiting from Excel? Now, even if I have just one workbook open, I have to effectively close Excel twice. Is there a way to change this behavior?

Let me preface this by saying I have limited experience with formulas (and, frankly, Excel). I've got two workbooks - ONE logs in time spent on a task for each day of the year, TWO is a weekly timesheet.

I need to merge multiple worksheets in the same workbook. The headers are same for all the worksheets. The worksheets contain each months data now i want to merge them in one worksheet and get the entire years data in one sheet. Each worksheet has auto filter enabled.

I'm having alot of problems trying to summerize some data that I have on multiple sheets. I have set up a sheet called Cases that has an index of all the data sheets (i.e. 1, 2, ...) and would like to iterate through this list and find the maximum values and report them

I don't use excel that much but I want to add a scroll bar to excel with a list of items to pick. I guess I use a scroll bar. I've manged to add a scroll bar but can't find how to add my list. Do I have to use VBA or is it simpler than that - can't find any help on help!!
