How can I add numbers but ignore the minus signs? In the following, the
answer I'm after is 17

comment and copy and paste in a Word document. The comment is longer than
one page so how can I highlight it so I can copy it?

Every time I type in the date it uses it for the year. I have my cells
formatted for US 10-Nov-2007 but if I type Nov 10 it puts 1-Nov-2010 and if
I type Nov 20 it puts 1-Nov-2020
Any ideas how to get a simple Nov 10 to insert Nov 10-2007

I am using excel 2003 and am trying to return a number associated with
a column by comparing two columns.
Specifically, in the screenshot linked below, I am trying to populate
column D with the number in column F where column E matches column A.

I have a spreadsheet that I am working to collect data for several different
products.  I developed a skeleton worksheet that will be copied within the
same workbook and re-named with each individual product.  In the skeleton
sheet, I have hyperlinks near the front of the sheet ...

here's my problem:
I created a vba code that copy from a template 2 sheets and paste them
into a new workbook.
But in the sheet #2, there's some formulas like this: ='Valeurs NCAP'!

Excel 2007 is supposed to maintain a list of the last 50 opened files.
I opened about 45 files at one time and my recently opened list shows
only 28 filenames. There's nothing on the screen to suggest that I can
scroll to another screen or that the list continues. Has anyone tried
