I am using Excel 2003. I am trying to output a print area from my spreadsheet to a PDF file, but I can't seem to find a way to automatically or even semi-automatically specify the filename. I generate the path and filename in Excel.

I'm modeling a french roulette in excel and when defining the events the function "iseven" when the value is zero returns "true". On a strict sense 0/N=0 and 0+2=Even but for roulette purposes, zero (or double zero) is neither even or odd.

I am trying to use ODBC to query an Excel spreadsheet. The ODBC driver looks at the first 8 rows in each column to determine the datatype. I have mixed numbers and text, but the driver thinks the column is numeric. As a result, text entries are not returned.
