My wife and I keep a copy of our inventory on each of our computers.
My problem is we have both entered data on our own computers.
Can we merge the two files and not loose any data?
And how would we go about it.

Using Excel 97, I have a document that has over 400 entries in it.  It opened
fine this morning.  This afternoon when I opened it, it was blank.  
Properties indicate 3.81MB.  Any suggestions???

I have a large excel sheet (with links to other files). Recalculation takes
much more time in excel 2003 than in excel 97.
Does anyone knows how to solve this.

I just installed 97 after using 95 forever.  One question...
WIth 95, when I enter a value in a cell, and then hit "enter", the cursor
moves to the cell directly below.  With 97, it moves to the next row, far
left cell.

I want to create a custom number format, that add twoalpha characters (the
same two - AA) to the beginning of each number.  The help feature of Excel
really does not explain this very well.

I have a large spreadsheet which is essentially a diary.
I want to format the days and weeks, with thin and thick borders to
distinguish between them. The spreadsheet already has lots of varied fill
formatting for meetings that are held.
