I created an excel document and I used it for years. From time to time I fill in a new row, only with numbers. Recently I noticed that some of the cells change color when I introduce any number in them.

Good afternoon: Is it possible to enter data on one worksheet and populate another protected worksheet in succession and remain there after the original data is erased from the "working worksheet"?

Excel 2003 - How do I set up a formula for the following: I wish to have a running total of a $ amount brought forward in a column, starting cell J3, followed by an additional amounts in G4+G5+G6-H7+G8 +G9-H10 etc. J4 would then show J3 plus G4 and so on with a final total

I just downloaded an Excel trial. Why can I not enter data in the cells? Is the trial version just to show me how pretty the program is, or can I actually try it out? Whats wrong here, am I being stupid?

I have a spreadsheet with strike out text combine with regular text in a cell. How do I remove only the strike out text from the cells? The column is over 7000 rows and it would be great if I can accomplish this task automatically.

Is there a built-in keyboard shortcut for the Format Painter? If not, is there a way to to assign to some key combination? I know I can assign a key combination to a macro, but I would prefer not to write a macro just to get a keyboard shortcut for a standard function.
