I was wondering if it were possible to restrict the values that can be entered into a cell (which I know can be done) but to allow for the available options to be displayed when the user has the cell selected (a-la combobox) without adding a new form to my worksheet or inserting

Is it possible to write a macro to format a cell with the following format $-100 if the cell has a negative number. The following format in excel for negative numbers is the following: -$100 or (100). I know I would have to probably have to convert it to a text string in order

Had some nice code off a magazine to make the calendar The code only allows you to do one date at a time, it would be nice if you could just click on a cell and then click a date as often as you want. Quicker to do Ctrl and Colon and then edit the dates as it is.

This was working a few days ago and now doesn't. When you try and Edit a Web query the web query box pops up with the correct web address, but you get a message ... "Navigation to the webpage was cancelled". The Web Query does work as it is on automatic refresh in the background ...

I have merged cells to make a larger area to input text, however, it wont let me wrap text. It works fine when I dont merge the cells. Does anybody know how to do this (or if it's possible)? Cheers

please can someone help me, i have just migrated to vista business ultimate and use office 2007, when i now try to open certain files in Excel both in the the new .format and .xls some will not open and the program freezes, i need to sort out urgently any help greatly appreciated
