I have Excel 2002 SP3 but another user has 2000 SP3. I created a big worksheet but only want him to be able to edit 1 column, so I used the Tools
> Protection > Allow users to edit ranges and gave him access to that 1 column. When he opens it in 2000, he can not edit anything ...

As a new user to excel I am thinking of setting up a data base of my music. The total number of tracks is in excess of 70,000. I have seen a simple solution using excel which would be ok but I'm not sure if I can have 70,000 rows in one work sheet. A friend has suggested access ...

I have a dilema. In A1 I have (for instance) $100.00 There are other cells that I need to add to A1. I know what I need to do is use an IF statement and I can do that.

When I protect a sheet, i get a message when i goto a cell that is fully protected that i cant chagne the contents. well i know this, that was the whole point of protecting the sheet. how do i get excel to do what access does in forms... ie when i go to a fully

We have a large Excel 2007 document with a lot of pictures. Viewing the document normally, the pictures all look fine, but when either previewing or printing, the further down the spreadsheet you get, the pictures are moving down the page.
