I'm new to Excel and learning the ropes... The Ribbon is generally minimized to save screen space. When I click a tab, the Ribbon opens up - and covers up the Formula Bar as well as the first few rows of the worksheet.

I have one particular Excel file that I can't get to accept horizontal or vertical page breaks. When properly highlighted, the drop down Insert menu will indicate a page break is installed at a particular column or row ("Remove Page Break"), but the break doesn't appear in Page ...

I'm fairly new to Excel. I want to create a formula to show the difference between 2 numbers, in different columns, but without positive or negative values. eg. the difference between 1 and 7 is 6. The difference between 7 and 1 is 6.

I use Excel to view statement information downloaded from my bank in CSV format. As some fields have long numeric strings that Excel displays in scientific notation (4988243043081440 displays as 4.98842E+15), I use Copy > Paste

I am trying to count the occurrences of a word in two columns. For example if column A has the value "YES" and column B also has the value "YES" then I want to count that as one instance of meeting the condition that both columns must be YES in order to count the instance

When attempting to save our addin it times out after a couple of minutes and displays a "Document Not Saved" dialog While saving, the temp save file that Excel creates grows to about 2gig before excel "times out".
