I was trying to change the default properties foe Excel 2007 and have messed
it up.  Whenever I open a spreadsheet by clicking on in in Windows Explorer,
book.xls also opens up in a separate window.  I have two sheets open and I
now have to physically close two sheets.

I'm trying to do a formula in Excel that has me stumped.  Would appreciate a
bit of help.
I have the formula:

I am interested in learning to use excel.  I currently have a Windows XP Home
edition version 2002 that only has Microsoft works.  Wondering what excel
program I should purchase to be able to load it on my computer.  I am

I'm using the new Excel 2007.  When I attempt to open an Excel file
from Explorer by double clicking on it the program opens but there is
no worksheet.  If I right click and then choose Open, it opens
immediately.

I'm Creating a directory based on new clientele and i want it alphabetical.

I have customized my toolbar with custom menu items for macros, etc.

I have a string of text in Row A Column A (Actually, I have a couple of
hundred rows, but one will suffice as an example) and I want to move parts
of that text into other cells on that row. For example:

Hey, hopefully someone can give me a hand here. Alt+Tab just stopped
working to switch between sheets in excel. I DO have
Tools>>Options>>View>>Windows in Taskbar checked. I do see multiple
