I have a sheet that performs a series of calculations based on a
single value and culminating in another single value.  Also the series

does, pick out specific data from that sheet based on the criteria i
select.  Our industry is Furniture Frame Making so the example below

In spreadsheet I have Monitor 15" in A1.
I wrtie this spreadsheet as txt file where values

We do a data import into Access from an Excel file.  The xls file is
always formatted the same way.  The import function never changes.  It

changing numeric values into text vales then adding a space into the text
cell, to take the place of the"," to denote thousands, move the "$" to the
end and change the "." to a comma, ex: $1,896,230.00 once changed to a text
