I've noticed something wierd and always wondered WHY it happens.  When you
type a date into a cell, and then change the Formatting of it to a 'general'
cell, it turns into a number.  How does it come up with that number?  What is
the significance?

Lets say I have a page of data pretty well filled up.
I am in column, e.g., D, and would just like to add a few blank cells
between some existing data in this column only.
I can't do a Insert a line as that would mess all the other columns also.

There is an Excel spreadsheet that is kept on a network drive. It was
orginally created in Excel 2000 but is saved by users using Excel 2003.  Most
people experience no problems, but I have this problem when I save it:
Every time I save it a new file is created in the folder where ...

Is there a way to force Excel to put a page break after every row that
contains something (anything) is the A column of that row.  I don't need
Excel to put breaks on all the rows, just the ones that have information.

I have a client who is using excel spreadsheets for a Product List,
Customers Orders, Customer Details and Purchase Orders.
He wants to be able to enter a product code in to the Customer Orders
spreadsheet, and have all the rest of the Product Information filled

My 2007 excel workbook has several sheets.  One of them doesn't allow
me to add, delete, or clear content of rows.  This means when I right-
click on a row,  the "insert", "delete", "clear content" is grey
out.   Same thing when I use the ribbon.

I have a sheet which contains 1 main macro and 19 sub macros.
from the main macro i need to call any one of the sub macros using the
call function.
However is there any way i can write the names of those 19 sub macros

When i copy a formula from one cell to another Excel adjusts any relative
cell references in whatever you are copying.  How do i get it to paste the
EXACT forumula without adjusting it?
(I know I can copy/paste the actual text of the forumula but I'm sure

From an Access Query.  I've got a list with the unique ID's for reports, and
the next field indicates what Language they were written in.
This was from a Many - Many relationship in Excel, and many of the reports
were written in many different languages.

When you enter the textbox the date is set to todays date and formatted
