Data Valididation using Dependent lists using Offset()05 Dec 2007 15:30 GMT2
I have a dependent list of 4 levels: Dept, Office, Division, Branch.
Each selection starting with department will provide lists based on
the previous selection.  This is perfectly straightforward and
functions flawlessly.  I am using named ranges and then using the

I try to get this formula or someting like it to work.
     =SUMPRODUCT((M17:M1115="245-B")*(R17:R1115="Not OK")*(H17:H1115=F2))
The problem is in  the H-Column. It contains Dates and times like for

i am opening the file that "has" macros, so excel asks i want to enable,
disable, etc, but i cannot see it on the list of macros (Tools -> Macro ->
Macros..., or Alt-F8). it is blank... how should i check/delete the macros
that are hidden somehow so i dont' get this annoying ...

I feel stupid asking this but there is a point. How can I type content
in one cell and it comes up in another cell without the 0 showing up.
e.g  If I type something in A1 to be copyed to C3 I would type in C3
"=A1" right... But then this 0 pops up. I just want it blank in the

Here is an example of a report I run every month, What I do is once I get the
Data Listed Below, I add in the 1-5, 6-12, & the 13+ columns, Then I Sort the
Data by RESPAR then by DAYS, then I manually Count the Days 1-5 to get a

I would like to copy data from one worksheet to another but every time I do
that, I need the data highlighted to show it has been copied. Is there a way

I am keeping a list of account numbers and sort codes, but every time i type
a number beginning with a 0 it is auto removed!!

me to use the INDIRECT function in order to use the contents of a cell
as part of a reference to another cell:
=INDIRECT("'" & A2 & "'!C7")

I have a text box with the default date in ("dd/mm/yyyy") format.
The user can then type over this date or leave it alone, and exits the text
box by means of the TAB key.
Within the exit code all the date validation takes place (See below).

I have never had the need for this, but I am trying to help my wife at
work. Whenever we go on the menu, this command is "grayed out". Same
at work and at home, so that tells me we are simply missing something
obvious. Does anyone know what we need to do? Thanks.

A friend is organizing a secret present interchange and I need a formula
that would tell me who gives who but duplicates not allowed. I tried using
randombetween but I get dups. How can YOu do it  ? Also CAn I have
