When making a gradebook, I need to find a procedure to use the homework
averages and the test grade averages to determine whether or not the homework
is helping the test grades? How would I go about this?

just upgraded from 2002 to 2007 and now when I double-click shortcuts to my
excel-documents they will not show in 2007. Excel 2007 opens but with an
empty workspace, only when I click the upper-left "Office button" does it

I have a very simple spreadsheet that has a column of serial numbers
and next to it a column with a yes/no tracking whether a serial number
has been registered or not.  I want my sales team calling into an
account once 50% of the serials are registered so I created a pivot

I have 11 cells with $2500.00, If I select them the footer bar showes
the right answer ($27500) but the cell showes $37500.  If I set a cell
equal to the sum cell times 1.0 it gives $37500.  So my confidence is
pretty low in the over all spread sheet.  Any work arounds for this??

I usually use the Filter function when dealing with data in Excel.
But I cannot figure out why SOMETIMES the hidden data (i.e. after being
filtered) is also afected by changes to filtered data. For example, if I use
Filter to find blanks cells and then delete the filtered rows ...
