Every so often the date format for all open worksheets are changed from yyyy to yy for no apparent reason. This can be resolved by closing down and re-starting Excel so it's no worse than an irritation. Does anyone know why this should happen please?

Need help on how to copy linked cells into another file and keep the links. I have several files which have links in them, need to combine all into one file so we can autofilter through all entries. When I copy over the data and paste, the link does not come with it. Tried

I am trying to graph a set of data in 'XY (Scatter)' and am running into a problem I've never seen before. There are only seven values for 'X' - numbers 0 through 6. 'Y' is a set of percentages ranging from '0.00%' to '13.00%'

I have an IF formula in a merged cell (XL 2003): =IF(SUM(AO6:AO13))=AB13,"","Error!! Daily Miles Totals Do Not Equal Daily Route Totals!!" The merged cell is formatted as Text, Word Wrap on.

Gurus, Running Excel 2003. I pasted a graphic from a Word document onto an existing Excel spreadsheet, but when I go into "Print View" or actually print out the page, the graphic is not visible. What am I doing wrong?

example of what i want to do: take a number from F1 and add it to D2 and then have the sum placed in F2. i want to set it up to continue to do this for every new number entered in column D it will then place the new total in column F. Help!!!!!

I pasted in a table from a web page. Wanted to to work with the numbers in the web table, in Excel. Fine! But, it turns out there were also a bunch of little objects in the web page. Totally small, a few pixels i think. You don't even see them on the sheet, but i noticed them ...
