I have a pivot table that we have sent to out side locations, They are viewing this table as "read Only" although I haven't protected the worksheet. Do you guys know of any setting I need to check that could have "secretly" put this Pivot table as read only?

First the spreadsheet we are talking about here was created in Excel '97 and I am now using Excel 2003. In each row I have a formula in column P that sums cells in the I & J columns.

This is a strange one. I have a person in the UK who can manually change the format of cell from Euro's to $'s. But, if we record the macro to do that same action and run it on other cells (or the original cell after doing an undo), it changes the format from Euro's to British ...

I am running Excel 2007. Every time I enter the word "cafe" it insists on putting an accent on the letter e (Café). I have tried everything I know to turn off auto correct (office buton/proofing) and I can't find where to turn it off!

How do I remove all of those little triangles in the upper left hand corners of the cells? I think they get created when you change columns around. They say: "Formula omits adjecent cells."

I'm using Office 2003. I've set up a small sheet on my laptop, that contain a few coloured cells. On the laptop these coloured cells display fine. On my PC the colours are not there (but they are displayed in Print Preview). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, I have a spreadsheet that was created using excel 2003, I try to open it using excel 2007 and a password prompt appears. I know what the password is, but how can I remove the password prompt on opening the file? I don't want it password protected anymore.
