Certainly there is a simple way to find out if a cell that has text in
it contains a certain word.  For example, cell A1 is populated with
the words "Houston, TX, USA."   In Cell A2 I want a function that can
look into A1 to see if the word "Houston" is contained in there.  If

I have a spreadsheet with 4 columns.  I am scanning some bar codes
into the 2nd and the 3rd column.  I want to the active cell to change

Hello, I have a summary sheet which links to many (20ish) password protected

Is there a way to make a conditional custom number format?  I have two
formats that ALMOST work for what I need, but not quite.  #.# works for most
numbers, but if there is no decimal in the number it displays an unnecessary
decimal.  ## works for most numbers EXCEPT for ones ...

I have a Summary Workbook and it gets information from other workbooks
Whenever I open it it will not update - it has an entry of 0 - I have to go
