One of the most painful things in Excel (2003) is that you have to set up the printing options (margins, header, footer, scale etc.) for all sheets in a workbook individually. Is there a hidden option somewhere that says "apply print options to all sheets in workbook"?

How to check, using single formula, that a text within a certain cell contains one of certain characters? For instance, how to check if there is a 'R', 'L' or 'Ps' character within cell A1 that reads 'W-RII'. Thanks in advance

I frequently enter text into cells. Sometimes the text is entered in lower case letters. I want the 1st letter to be capitalized regardless of my entry. Are there any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I have attempted to install this macro code many times now. I always get an error that tells me that "The number in this cell is formatted as text or preceded with an apostrophe." If I convert to number it just becomes that number and not a sequential one on subsequent reopening.

I need a clustered 3d column chart that compares 2008 to 2009 and I can’t get the axes set up right. I need the grouped series across the bottom to be the Minority groups, with each year on a different depth axis (row of grouped columns). Can that be done in Excel?

I am sent an xls that includes a worksheet that is a pivot table. There are a couple combo boxes in the first row (e.g., Date, Year) that if I were able to connect to the external data source would allow requerying of the pivot table.
