Do I have to use still macros to sort tabs or there is somewhere a function
to do that?

My workbook [REPORT.XLSM] contains a number of sheets;
Rev01 ..Rev02..Rev03... and so on.
The workbook will expand with new revision sheet RevN+1 occasionally.

I have a series of dates in A3:A1000 and I only want to count the dates
in September 2009 **/09/09 (UK date format) in that range.
I looked at COUNT, COUNTIF etc. but they only seem to look for text strings.
I seem to be going around in circles with this.

For my children I wanted to have practice in using log table while
multiplying and dividing.
For this I have a book Clark's Tables (Science Data Book) by Orient Longmans
This has Log and Anti Log tables.

But it is not correct. Please help. I need the date for today ...

I'm sure this is an easy fix, but it is just beyond me.  Hopefully,
one of you is going to make me feel stupid.
I have an excel 2003 workbook that is a template for a merge document

all other MS Office apps work fine. all of a sudden i can't launch excel. it
says it's trying to configure Microsoft Office Professional with Front Page,
then it fails and asks for the disk, which my computer did not come with or i
can't find. i have Office 2002.

I was trying to match old font colors in a spreadsheet and now have 5 or 6
orange color boxes in the recently used font list in the font color dropdown
box. How do I get rid of the ones I don't want?

I am working with a spreadsheet which can have multiple spreadsheets all
formatted the same way.  Now although these sheets are all formatted the same
way some may have 1 row of data while another may have 10 rows of data.  I am
wanting to incorporate these into a summary ...

I need to add 1 row between each current row in an 2670 rows long excelsheet.
And yes I am lazy, so could anyone help me create the macro? Seems I'm doing

What if "Score" above is a letter of the alphabet, not a number?  I'm not

I am trying to print a landscape page, with headers and footers, with
the sheet fit to 1x1 page.  I want to have footnotes at the bottom of
the page, which I am doing just by inserting enough rows manually
until the sheet starts to get squashed width-wise (before footnotes,
