Office XP on Windows XP professional (all service packs
installed.)
When I set the print area, I choose to fit 1 page wide and
two pages tall, but the preview shows the contents as a

hi there....
i want to change my excel worksheet to a different (not white) color ... and
i want this color to be the default
i realized that i could do this by right-clicking on my desktop, going to

I dont want Excel 2000 to load the last saved files but it does so.
Where is the setting in the options or preferences that set that up so
that I stop it.

When I enter dates into a cell (e.g. 1/3/03), and the cell
formatted to show 14 MAR 2003, the date is shwon as 3 Jan
2003, not 1st March 2003. I presume there is a problem
with the set up of excel or office. I'm running MS Office

Hi, My up/down/left/right arrows used to allow me to move the cursor from
the current cell to any adjacent cell.  All of a sudden the arrows leave the
cursor where it is and just move the scroll bars.  How do I get back to the

Windows XPH Excel 2002
When I click "File" on the Taskbar, recently accessed
Excel files don't appear at the bottom.
Tools > Options > General shows "Recently Used File List"

I just installed Win2000 and Office 97 on a brand new
computer.  Clean install, essentially nothing else on the
computer yet.  I have a few Excel files, some that were
created previously and a couple that were created on this

I am using Excel 2002 and Windows XP Pro.  Recently excel stopped
allowing me to enter formulas containing the "/" operator.  So when I
enter +3/4 or =3/4 I get an error.  If I enter 3 in A1 and 4 in B1,
then try to enter the =A1/B1 or +A1/B1 I get an error.

How do I enter a header once and it comes out on all the
pages of my workbook? Right now I have to manually copy
and insert it on each page.
