what is the max number of columns that you can have in one spread.

I bought the education package for Office Pro and I
loaded it.  The package is supposed to have excel and I
can't find it on my computer with a search.  I must be
installing it incorrectly.  Anybody know how to install

i have install office 2000 and the feature to select non adjacent cells
doesn't work. It did on my other pc - what have i done wrong?

Somehow my default number of pages to print is set at 3.  I know there is a

I always get a "Cannot empty the clipboard" pop up warning when doing a
drag'n'drop in Excel. This version is part of Office 2003. This never used to
happen in Office 2000. I have not been able to fine a place to turn this off.

How can I have the system select more than one item (or cell) from a
drop-down list.  Different items can be selected from the same list but the
system will not allow me to add more than one.

When i cursor to a cell with an e-mail address, it
automatically creates an e-mail to that person. How do I
turn off that function

I have had someone's else's spreadsheets passed on to me.  Each worksheet has
large text "PAGE 1" or PAGE 2 in the backgroud like a watermark.  Can anyone
tell me how to remove these?

how do i setup somekind of leaderboard so that one someone's record becomes
better than another person's that person will go to the top

I have a spreadsheet that does not contain any macros.  
However, when you load the spreadsheet, the message
to "enable/disable" the macros displays.  Is there any way
to turn the message off?

I had to reinstall Excel 2000 after a hard drive crash.  Previously, I was
able to insert, say, a row by selecting a row and using Cntrl I as a shortcut
key.  I cannot find how to set this up.  Please help.

The worksheets tabs are at the botton of an Excel worksheet. Is it possible
to put them on the sides or at the top so I would not have to drag the mouse
to the bottom of the workbook?
