How is this activated. I have CL Access Express loaded and I want to transfer data from AS400 to Excel. This function should bve under Data drop down menu. Would be nice if Microsoft can make it as a permanent function of excel

Is there a way in Excel 2003 to bring up spreadsheets in separate windows instead of all spreadsheets in windows within a parent window? I think it used to work this way.

Every time I open Excel, it puts my reference style as R1C1. I always uncheck that box under options but it keeps going back to R1C1. I'm getting very frustrated. How can I change it so the default is having that box unchecked??

when the popup asked which program to use to open a .wks file in error i selected .wps instead of .xls. how do i change the default that opens any ".wks" file from ".wpd" to ".xls"? how do i change this?

Excel gets "stuck" in a "selection" mode where you cannot stop Excel from highlighting data ranges. All other menus are unresponsive. I do not know what to call this, and I don't know how it is turned on, though my primary goal at the moment is to turn it off.

For safe keeping I copy the file on a CD. Each time I need to change this file, I get a error message telling me that its a read only file... How can I change the setting, so I don't get this error message @ time?
