User has arguments within functions separated by semicolons rather than commas. Would like to change to default to comma separation. EX: =IF(A1>0;B1;C1) ---- Current argument separator =IF(A1>0,B1,C1) ---- Prefered argument separator

i work with alot of Imperial and Metric dimensions for products, but it seems that excel does not realy like imperial measurements. Let Us say that i ahve a screw that is 5/8 inches long. if i put that into a cell, even formatted as text, it will still change it to 05-Aug. same ...

Now I am not surprised by this, but a user has dug out an old spreadsheet which he has to use and which ran on several addins. This spreadsheet was created in Excel 95 and opens fine in 2003 - but none of the addins run in 2003 and I can't track current versions down anywhere!

Upgraded to Office 2003 Student and Teacher Edition. Was running Excel 97, where I could set how many of recent spreadsheets I could see on menu. When I tried to set in new version, (under Tools-Options-General), the Recently Used Files information is grayed out! HELP!
