The default measurement unit in Excel seems to be Imperial (inches). Can this be set to Metric (millimeters)? Regards Don Bowyer

I'm having a strange problem using functions in Excel and I wonder if anyone can help me. Instead of displaying as commas, parameters are being seperated by 0's. Even the function help is comming up as e.g. Max(number10[maxnumber20]) , resulting in formalus being shown like

Change default measurements from cm to inches Why can I not find this in Excel? It is easy as pie to change in Word 2003. Any time MS software installs in Canada, it defaults to centimeters.

How can I change the currecny symbol in Excell. It stays on $ and I need it to be R. I have changed the setting in Control Panel in Regional Settings to South Africa. There the R is displayed as the Currency symbol.
