When I want to save a file in a different location than originally located, the "Copy of" is always part of the new filename. This also happens when I want to save a read-only file in a different location. How do I turn off the "Copy of" ?

I have a user that needs to get XL 2003 installed to access reports from a vendor. After a month of working with the vendor to make their reports backwards compatible to our standard Excel 2000, we've determined that will not work.

I use Excel 2003. I have the default for fixed decimal points set to 2. When I enter 2345, 23.45 displays. However, when I enter 2345. , I still get 23.45. What I want is 2345.00. What do I need to do to make this happen?

As a complete novice,I would like help setting up a form. Set out horizontally, a heading, 4 headings for; name,date of birth,programme start date.......review date, therapist/s . Then 3 columns headed; Baseline,Target Programme. I would be very grateful of any assistance.

the problems is i have to save an excel file to text file, so that column A takes up the first 10 columns, column B takes up 7 columns in the text file and so on , or word it in another way

I used to be able to use my arrow keys to move from cell to cell. All of a sudden, arrow keys cause the sheet to scroll without reselecting a cell. I must have unwittingly changed a setting. I can not figure out how to get it back.

I can inset the NOW function but it will only update if I press F9. I want to have it continuously update without pressing F9. How do I do that?
