is there any way to increase excels limits of number of characthers in each
cell (default 1024 for cell)? Any suggestions would be very helpful.

With several Excel files open at once, my computer re-booted.  When it came
back up, none of my Excel shortcuts work.  When I click on them, it opens
Excel, but not the file.  All other Office components work fine.

I am at a loss to reinstall Excel. Why did I lose it ? how do I recover it?

My columns are currently numbered 1 2 3 in the gray shaded area. How do I
change that to A B C...

Regarding Excel, I have no 'address bar' in my menu rows - how do I get to
come up?

MS Excel 2002.
Test questions are in consecutive rows in Col B. Two option buttons are in
corresponding row in Col B. I want user to have forced choice of one per row,
but Excel is allowing only one choice per the whole worksheet.

I changed the border color from "automatic" to black.  I lightened the
gridlines because I still want to be able to see them, but the black thin
borders don't show up on the regular-color gridlines.
Now, it seems the problem is worse than before I changed anything.  

Every time I open Excel I get the following message"Book.doc. File format is
not valid
How do I get rid of this?

A friend was showing me how to use NUM to add items which were not in line.
When I load my sheets in Excel I have no NUM at the bottom. How do I get

I need to know how to import excel spreadsheets onto access. My manual only
covers how to create access databases but at work we will be receiving
information on excel spreadsheets that needs to be imported onto an acess
database. Not sure how this is done

A friend has a problem. When he wants to open a file in Excel he finds the
file already open with a message which says the file cannot be opened as it
is already open.
I have tried  to simulate this condition on my own PC but failed to do so.

Every time I close an excel document, it asks me if I want to save changes
even when I have made no changes at all. How do I stop it from asking me to
save changes? This really screws up my macros when I'm copying from other
sheets as it'll ask after every sheet for me to save.

Im trying to unprotect a workbook to allow me change worksheets names etc.
Password has being forgotton by user.tried change password in general options
under file-save as but this has not worked when i got to unprotect it says
