I'm trying to create a file that has a letter head that spans the top of the file. I want that image to go from edge to edge on the top of the printed paper. But I can't seem to get the margin less then say 1/2" or so. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Is it possible to have a keyboard shortcut be applicable ("isolated") to a specific workbook? I used "Ctrl b" for a macro shortcut in a template. Anytime the user has the workbook open but is working in another unrelated book the shortcut wants to execute my macro versus

I don't know Excel too well. I have a running spreadsheet with new entries each day. Is there a way that I can have Excel automatically put the date in the next column? Whenever a cell in entered or modified, it would enter that date in the next cell.

For some reason when I copy a formula from one cell to another it copies the formula, but also the value that was in the copied cell. I had no problem with this before on this spreadsheet

I have opened an excell file in read only format. Not sure what type of settings did the file had as a defalut set for the users, but ever since the 'Save as' option on the file menu is disabled. So when I try to open another excell file, I am never able to save it as 'save as' ...

The UNDO function is not working. while typing in a cell, all the command icons in the standard tool bar and other tool bars are inactive. then once I press enter, I can not undo it. Any help is appreciated.

Set save as in Excel 2003 to an older version (97) so others could open it, now I can't open any .xls files anymore. Always get: 'c:\documents.xls' could not be found - is it because no matter where I try to open a file it always looks for 'c:\documents.xls' ?
