When in Excel and I try to enter a single of double quotation mart nothing
happens, and when I try again I get two single or double quotation marks.
I think it has someting to do with the keyboard settings

I opened Excel and Book 1 was shown on the toolbar  but I could not open the
page or deleted it. Even after rebooting it is still there. If I open Excel
it opens at Book 2 and ignores Book 1
How do I remove this item from the tool bar?

I would like the custom column width I have applied to the first sheet in a
workbook to apply to all following sheets.  I have tried the format painter
option, but that doesn't apply/change the column widths.  I am on Excel 2004
for Mac.  Thanks!

i want this setting to be saved in the excel program not in the xls file
all supported files to be opend with the new column width

My Excel in Office 2003 was working fine, then recently I started to get this
message when I open the program that says microsoft visual basic, compile
error, can't find library.  I can click out, "stop" the debugger and get back
to Excel, but I can't figure out what happened, or ...

I have a workbook that has more than 50 worksheets.  I would like the default
to open to the first worksheet when the file is opened, not the last one
accessed when last saved.  Is it possible to do easily?

I have built a form using excel. I have protected all cells except user
inputs.
I'm wondering if there is a way to force the user to either exit without
saving or use "save as". I guess that sort a makes this file a template.

I have a 19" monitor an when set to 1600x1200 pixels Excel only displays the
