In Word it is possible to choose an option for a blue screen for people who
find the normal screen hard on their eyes.  I have looked for this option in
Excel but can't find it.  Does anyone know if it can be done (without simply
colouring the background and creating a template).

Is there a way to format a cell with a generic 12 hour time setup without
showing AM/PM next to the time entered? I need to enter scheduling
information ranging from 8am to 1am without the cell noting AM/PM using 12

I have a problem with exporting Excel sheets to txt files separated by tabs
that I can't find any solutions for. The problem is with fields containing
quotation marks or apostrophes (every other fields are fine). To explain the
situation I'll give you my own example:

I use Excel every week to type up business documents, but today something
went wrong.  I clicked on the icon and a box popped up that said "Please wait
while Windows configures Microsoft Office XP Small Business."  Then it asks
me to insert my Office CD.

Excel 2K on Win XP Pro. If I open Excel first and then a sheet, it works
fine. If I try opening excel sheet from my desktop it takes much more longer

I am trying to type in something like 21lb 8oz but also use the decimal
version 21.5 in the same cell as a number,so i can use =sum. I do not need to

I click on a cell and want to fill the cell with a color so I click on the
little paint bucket on the top right but it does not fill the cell with the

how do i get word 2003 to open documents in a seperate windows?
I've upgraded a desktop from 2000 to 2003, but all office apps refuse to
open new/other documents into seperate windows (so no alt-tab happiness for
me).
