How do I change the settings for language specific punctuation in a document?
In Danish large numbers are written like this 3.234 whereas in English you
write 3,234, the same goes for 3,5 % (DK) vs. 3.5% (ENG)
Can anyone help?

Excel 2003 SP2
I've just setup a spreadsheet that has 2 worksheets, Sheet1 and Sheet2.
I've copied/pasted some data into Sheet1.  Now in Sheet2 I parse the data
that's in Sheet1.

I have Excel 2002 (XP) and want to display negative numbers in parentheses in
ACCOUNTING FORMAT instead of with a minus sign.  I know this is possible as a
standard feature (I have done it before on a previous machine) and I think
there was a KB patch for this flaw.  Anyone know ...

I've been working on all spreadsheets in Lotus 1-2-3 with all sheet tabs at
the top.  Now, we are changing from Lotus to Excel worksheet and would like
to see all sheet tabs at the top, instead of at the bottom.  Is it possible
to do so, and how?  We are using Excel 2000.

All of a sudden Excell stop working now it wants me to install the instlation
CD and I have had Office 2000 so long I can't find it. Can any one help?

Until recently, whenever I edited a formula the cells involved in the
equation were shown with colored borders (as well as in the cell and above).
This function no longer appears to work. Did I accidently turn something off?

I would like to have a mixed cell format in a single cell, i.e., a label
followed by the results of a formula calculated in the cell.  An example
would be: "Avg.: " (the result from a formula calculation).  How can I do
this?  Thanks.

Excel can be misleading when it helpfully rounds your numbers to fit the
existing column width.  In most instances I would prefer that, for example,
the "##########" indicative of insufficient column width be displayed, rather
than an erroneous (rounded) number.  

I am using data validation to prevent duplicates in a column and the
validation i am using is =COUNTIF(A:A,A1)<2 .This works on some sheets but on
others, it skips every other two rows. What would cause this?

I created a macro which unfortunately applied to all workbooks.Each time i
open a existing workbook, a personal xls  open with it.I uninstalled office
and reinstalled but the same results appear.What can be done?

I have a two worksheet excel program, and it is being designed as a
sort of commodities "inventory net worth" program.
First sheet (Daily Spot Prices) has columns  containing date,
commodity 1, commododity2, commodity3...... etc,   each price

I'm having the same problem someone else did. While attempting to use the
Customize function on the Tools menu (on the top menu bar), the Tools
dropdown option just disappeared. Now I just have File, Edit, View, Insert,
Format, Data, Window, and Help options.

The data validation response i received on my intial posting worked when you
manually key in the same value preventing duplication but when i tried to
copy and paste the same value it  ignored data validation and allowed a
duplicate entry. I need something that will worked ...

I am using Excel and I am a novice. I am trying to type my formula in the
formula bar but then the number that I want to place in the cell disappears.
When I place the number in the cell, the formula disappears. Please help.
